Approval of Minutes from February 11, 2004
On a motion by Brendon Votipka and seconded by Erin Rooney, the minutes of February 11,
2004 were approved unanimously (5-0).
Mayor Ray Martinez sent a written correction to a statement that was made in the meeting of
February 11 regarding the Inspirational Park. The minutes stated that "The City has approved a
large part of the funding for the park, so the overall need has decreased." Mayor Martinez' letter
stated that the "overall need has not decreased". We still need to raise $400,000." Even though
the City is providing the site and additional funding for special playground equipment, the goal
remains the same — to raise $400,000.
