Citizen Participation:
Tom Reiff of the City's Transportation Planning Department presented information regarding an
interdisciplinary team that will be formed with police, transportation, etc. to develop a plan to
improve pedestrian safety. Apparently it is a city-wide problem of autos failing to yield to
pedestrians. The team will seek feedback from the public and from City boards such as this one.
In addition Poudre School District and Latimer County's Safe Kids Coalition will be involved.
Mr. Reiff will return to this Board to request feedback when data has been collected.
Agenda:
TABULATE/DISCUSS SURVEY RESULTS
Some surveys have been returned and tabulated, but more are yet to be submitted. The Youth
Activity Center staff will continue to tabulate, and results will be brought to the January meeting
for distribution and discussion. Some of the youths surveyed thought it was a bit lengthy.
