Regular Meeting- Wednesday, November 14, 2001

II. Consideration of the agenda
III. Approval of minutes from the meeting of October 17, 2001
Mr. Howe moved to approve the minutes.
Ms. Gram seconded.
Approved unanimously.
Approval of minutes from the meeting of October 29, 2001
Mr. Sherman moved to approve the minutes.
Ms. Gram seconded.
Approved unanimously.
IV. Citizen Participation
V. The Gardens on Spring Creek Project
Ms. Martin introduced Jim Clark, of the City's Horticulture Department, to describe the project to the Board.
He introduced David Stipe of EDAW, the landscape design company working on the project. Mr. Clark
updated the board on the status of the project. Artist Barry Rose is working with the design team to create
artwork at the site. The design team is trying to come up with creative ways to add project money to the Art
in Public Places budget for the artist. Work is projected to happen in late summer of 2002.
Ms. Gram moved to create a Requests for Proposals to select an artist to create artwork for the
Gardens on Spring Creek at the Entryway Plaza.
Mr. Sherman seconded.
Approved unanimously.

VI. Work Plan
Ms. Martin distributed a draft of a work plan for 2002 to the board, to be submitted to City Council.
Mr. Howe moved to approve the work plan with changes.
Ms. Dale seconded.
Approved unanimously.
VIL Staff Reports
Ms. Martin distributed a written report of staff activities since last month's board meeting.
