I. Call to order 3:36 p.m. — Mr. Howe
II. Consideration of the agenda
III. Approval of minutes from the meeting of July 17, 2002
Ms. Gram moved to approve the minutes.
Ms. Liska-Smith seconded.
Approved unanimously.
IV. Citizen participation — None
V. City Park Pool Proposal Review
Eight proposals were received for this project. After reviewing the proposal materials, the board moved to
add Joseph McGrane to the City Park Pool Design Team to work to develop an art piece for the project.
Ms. Gram motioned for the board to accept Mr. Joseph McGrane as the selected artist to work with the pool
facility design team.
Ms. Hixon-Cunningham seconded.
Approved unanimously.
Ms. Liska-Smith moved to accept Ms. Reven Swanson as the alternate for this project.
Ms. Dale seconded.
Approved unanimously.

Ms. Liska-Smith brought a question to the board about the aviation memorial recently accepted by the
Larimer County Commissioners. The Fort Collins City Council had previously rejected the memorial on the
recommendation of the board.
Ms. Liska-Smith motioned to submit a letter to Fort Collins City Council restating the board's position against
placement of the plane, in the location the Larimer County Commissioners have accepted, along the Mulberry
Street corridor.
Ms. Hixon-Cunningham seconded.
Approved unanimously.
