Discussion
of Cases
Reviewed: Members of the subcommittee for IA #2001-16 reported that, by a vote of
2 to 1, the case was sent back to Police Services for further investigation.
The majority of the subcommittee believed that the investigation should
include a transcript of sworn trial testimony if the underlying criminal
charges against the complainant go to trial in the near future. Rick Aulino
asked if waiting for sworn testimony should be a policy of the Board.
Becky Richardson said it should depend on the case.
