Water Commissioners have been invited to tour the Oak Street Stormwater
Improvements Project on Friday, Oct. 3 starting at 9:00 a.m. on the 800 block of Oak
Street, east of Washington Avenue, and ending at approximately 10:30 a.m.
As there are three or more members of the Water Commission that may attend, the
event is posted as a public meeting. While no formal action by the Water Commission
will be taken during this event, the discussion of public business may occur, and the
event will be open to the public.
This is an active construction site with large equipment running and maneuvering. There
will be intermittent loud sounds and there will be dirt and/or mud tour participants may
need to walk through. The temperatures may be cool, and a light jacket may be needed.
Long pants and close-toed shoes are required, and sunglasses are recommended. Hard
hat and safety vest are required and will be provided unless you choose to bring your
own.
