The meeting will be available to join beginning at 11:45 am, August 15, 2025. Participants
should try to sign in prior to the 12:00 pm meeting start time, if possible. No public comments
are allowed at the Work Session. If you’d like to make a public comment, you may participate
at the Regular Hearing, August 21, 2025.

August 2025 Land Use Code Update
The purpose of this memo is to provide the Commission with a brief monthly update on the Commercial
Corridors and Centers Land Use Code project.
Staff Update
The draft of the Land Use Code is currently under review by the City Attorney’s office; therefore, no
presentation update will be provided at this month’s work session. Additional coordination between the
consultant team and City staff was required, which resulted in a delay to the anticipated timeline for draft
release. The public review draft is now planned to be released on September 2nd.
Staff will distribute the draft code to Commissioners for review prior to the September 12th Planning and
Zoning Commission Work Session and will be prepared to discuss the draft at the Work Session.
