Water Commissioners have been invited to visit the Colorado State University (CSU)
Halligan Dam Physical Flow Model on Thursday, June 26, starting at 5:00 p.m. It will be
held at the CSU Hydraulics Lab, 4451 Laporte Ave., Fort Collins, CO 80521.
As there are three or more members of the Water Commission who may attend, the
event is posted as a public meeting. While no formal action by the Water Commission will
be taken during this visit, discussion of public business may occur, and the visit will be
open to the public.
Instructions for Members of the Public
Plan: Please wear closed-toe shoes. It is possible visitors will interact with water or wet
surfaces. Onsite parking is very limited. Please arrive between 4:45-5:00 p.m., if possible.
Directions: Upon arrival to the CSU Foothills Campus, drive south on the paved road just
east of the Engineering Research Center (Daryl B. Simons building). Proceed south and
bear left to go down a dirt road. There are structures on the left but keep going until the
road comes to a dead end next to a large laboratory building on the left.
Accessibility: To access the model, people will need to climb stairs and navigate uneven
surfaces.
