CALL TO ORDER: 5:40 PM 2. ROLL CALL a. Board Members Present – • Erma Woodfin, Chair • Lori Kempter, Vice Chair • Olga Duvall • Mike Kulisheck • Michaela Ruppert • Jan Stallones b. Board Members Absent – • Chris Coy c. Staff Members Present – • Adam Molzer, Staff Liaison, Social Sustainability – City of Fort Collins • Jessi Kauffmann, Social Sustainability – City of Fort Collins d. Guest(s) – None. 3. AGENDA REVIEW – Adam Molzer reviewed the agenda. The Board accepted the agenda without modification. 4. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION – None. 5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – October 9, 2024 Regular Meeting Erma Woodfin motioned to approve the October 9, 2024 meeting minutes as presented. Olga Duvall seconded. Approved 7-0. 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS – None. 7. NEW BUSINESS a. 2025 Meeting Calendar • Adam Molzer highlighted the included 2025 schedule for meetings, with the majority virtual and including a few meetings in-person. b. Board Recruitment • The City had an open house last week, about 50 community members attended to learn about available boards and commissions. Applications open soon. • The HSHF Board term is unique starting in July, so members term- ending in June of 2025 will need to re-apply. c. Council Liaison Invitation • Adam Molzer offered to coordinate a visit by the Council Liaison in the first months of the new year. • The Board agreed and asked Adam to coordinate this visit. d. FY23 Human Services Grant Results • Review of the Grant Results from FY23 – over 17,000 individuals served. e. Human Services & Homelessness Priority Platform Update • The Platform is in final stages of editing and was shared in a public meeting on October 23, 2024. • The Board expressed support and asked questions related to technical edits, homelessness, and board decision making. • Moving to 2-year grant cycles. • Housing will remain annual. Erma Woodfin motioned to endorse the Human Services & Homelessness Priority Platform and Olga Duvall seconded. Approved 7-0. f. Grant Process Improvements Erma Woodfin motioned to accept Option B for the Number of Funding Requests Each Applicant Organization May Submit. Michaela Ruppert seconded. Approved 7- 0. Erma Woodfin motioned to accept Option A with edits. Olga Duvall seconded. Approved 7-0. 8. BOARD MEMBER REPORTS • Olga shared that the City of Loveland will be losing over $11 million and will not be offering Human Services grants. The only remaining funding is CDBG. 9. STAFF REPORTS • Adam shared a story of Highpoint Services – The Board in 2023 awarded $15K for the partial purchase of a van. A newcomer to Fort Collins was able to use the van for local transportation. 10. OTHER BUSINESS Erma Woodfin motioned to cancel the next meeting and have a non-business holiday social gathering. Olga Duvall seconded. Approved 7-0. 11. ADJOURNMENT a.
