Ms. Powers motioned to approve the minutes.
Ms. Shuff seconded.
Unanimously approved.
6. NEW BUSINESS
a) Asphalt Art Presentation
Staff shared information on the upcoming collaboration with FC Moves on Asphalt
Art project(s).
Ms. Shuff moved to do an open call for artists for the 2025–2026 Asphalt Art project
to include artists within the Fort Collins Growth Management Area.
Ms. Sherman seconded.
Unanimously approved.
b) Pedestrian Paver Review
Staff read through the jury process and the requirements for the paver project. We
are looking at selecting 15 paver drawings and 2 alternates. The Selection
Committee voted individually on the paver drawings. Then staff tallied the votes.
The Selection Committee had to revote two drawings to break the tied score.

Ms. Barnes motioned to accept the 15 designs and the alternates
Ms. Sherman seconded.
Unanimously approved.
7. STAFF REPORTS
Staff shared updates from the Staff Report. The Community Survey is being sent
out and opt in surveys will be available online starting May 16. Staff will send the
board a link to the survey when it is open.
8. OTHER BUSINESS
The Board asked about the size of the newly combined board. There will be further
discussion, and information will be brought to the board.

MONTHLY UPDATES:
215 MASON LOBBY: Artist Rafe Ropek has been contacted and is interested in working on the remodeling
project that will affect his APP project currently in the space.
CENTER FOR CREATIVITY, 200 Mathews St.: We are currently developing the budget and the project team will
select an artist from the preapproved list for the cooling tower mural.
COLLEGE AVE. SIGNALS, College Ave at Pitkin, Columbia, and Harvard: The project team selected Mark
Leichliter from the Design Consultant List. This project is under contract and currently is in fabrication.
COLLEGE AVE. AND TRILBY INTERSECTION: The project team will select an artist from the pre-approved list.
ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING CENTER FLOW RESTORATION, east of Timberline on Drake: Artist Katy Casper
presented her design to the board and the project was approved. This project is under contract and in
fabrication.
I-25 AND PROSPECT INTERCHANGE: Artist Stephen Shachtman was selected for this project and it has been
approved by the Board and City Council. This project is under contract and in fabrication.
LAPORTE AVE MULTIMODAL, Laporte Ave. between Fishback Ave. and Sunset St.: The project team is currently
reviewing the Design Consultant List to select an artist.
MIDTOWN IMPROVEMENT, College between Boardwalk and Thunderbird: Staff will issue an RFQ for an artist
within a 75-mile radius of Fort Collins. There will be different phases to this project.
NORTHSIDE AZTLAN COMMUNITY CENTER CHILDCARE, 112 E. Willow: The project team has selected artist Gale
Whitman. This project is under contract and Gale has started her mural. See photos.
OAK STREET STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS, Oak Street from Jackson Ave. to Mason St.: Artist Mark Aeling
was selected for this project. This project has been approved by the Board and Council. We are currently sharing
information on the project website and newsletter and working on a contract.
PEDESTRIAN PAVER PROJECT: APP staff completing paperwork for 2025 designs and developing the digital
files for the 2024 designs. The 2023 pavers are in fabrication.

Gale Whitman continues to paint the panels to be fabricated as vinyl clings for the windows of her Northside Aztlan
Childcare mural. The Project Team visited her studio to see the murals in progress.
PIANOS ABOUT TOWN PROJECT: Artist Richie Green started
his mural last Wednesday and will be painting through June
2. The next artist is Jess White and she will start June 4.

POWER TRAIL AND HARMONY CROSSING, Harmony Road
between McMurry Ave. and Timberline Rd.: Artist Todd
Kundla was selected for this project. The final design was
approved by the Board and Council. The project is under
contract and in fabrication.
SCHOOLSIDE PARK (FORMERLY BACON PARK), Timberline
Rd, near Bacon Elementary: Artist Gregory Fields was
selected for this project. The final design was approved by
the Board and City Council. The project is under contract
and in fabrication.
STREAM REHABILITATION, Mail and Fossil Creek
Confluence and Spring Creek at Edora Park: Andy Dufford
and his team have installed the artwork and have installed
the signage. See photo.
TIMBERLINE & LINCOLN INTERSECTION: The project team
will select an artist from the pre-approved list.
TRANSFORMER CABINET MURAL PROJECT: The 2025 Call
for Artists is being advertised. The deadline is April 29. Staff
will work on maintenance of cabinet murals this year.
TRANSFORMER CABINET MURAL PROJECT — AMELIA
CARUSO: Amelia is currently working to paint a mural on
the site of one of the first cabinet murals in Tenney Alley.
UTILITIES PUBLIC ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM,
location to be determined: Allie Ogg has finalized her four
story panels and presented to the Utility team. Allie
continues to work on additional illustrations for Utilities.
WEST ELIZABETH, between Shields St. and Overland Trail:
Artist Mark Leichliter is currently meeting with the project
team and developing art for the project.

Amelia Caruso is nearing completion of her mural
Sunset Over Horsetooth in Tenney Alley/
