Washington Avenue --- Petitioner: Greg Owsley --- Zone: NCL v --- Section 29-459 ( 1) --- The variance would allow a home occupation to be conducted p c ed in a detached building in the NCL zone. Specifically, the variance would allow a 1-chair in-home hair salon to be in the existing detached garage, instead of in the house. --- Petitioner' s statement of hardship: The house is an older house which is fairly small. The only room available would be in the detached garage. If the garage were attached, as is common in newer subdivisions, a variance would not be required. --- Staff comments: None
