LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MINUTES
Regular Meeting. – May 15, 2024

A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held May 15, 2024, via Zoom Link, Assistant
Municipal Judge Brandi Nieto presiding.
Secretary’s Note: All applications were heard via Zoom.
Staff in attendance: Holly Coulehan, Assistant City Attorney II
Jim Lenderts, Marijuana Enforcement Officer
Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk
New Hotel-Restaurant Liquor License Application from
Madre Cocina Y Lounge, LLC, dba Madre Cocina Y Lounge,
214 Linden Street, Approved
Zach Wilson, attorney representing Madre Cocina Y Lounge, LLC, stated they are ready to proceed.
In response to questions from the Authority and Assistant City Attorney Coulehan, Ms. Lucero
detailed the licensed premises. She stated that the only patio is adjacent to the building. Ms. Lucero
stated she will resubmit the diagram to include the bathrooms, locked liquor storage and the patio
cameras. She stated 1 server will be assigned to the patio.
Assistant Municipal Judge Nieto adopted Resolution 2024-004 approving a hotel-restaurant liquor
license application from Madre Cocina Y Lounge, LLC, dba Madre Cocina Y Lounge, 214 Linden
Street.
