Online Public Participation:
The meeting will be available to join beginning at 5:00 pm, December 18, 2024. Participants
should try to sign in prior to the 5:00 pm meeting start time, if possible. For public comments, the
Chair will ask participants to click the “Raise Hand” button to indicate you would like to speak at
that time. Staff will moderate the Teams session to ensure all participants have an opportunity
to address the Board or Commission.
To participate:
•Use a laptop, computer, or internet-enabled smartphone. (Using earphones with a
microphone will greatly improve your audio).
•You need to have access to the internet.
•Keep yourself on muted status.
Masks Strongly Recommended in Indoor Public Spaces
While there are currently no public health orders in place, Larimer County Public Health officials
strongly recommend that well-fitting, high-quality masks are worn in crowded indoor spaces.

1.CALL TO ORDER
Chair Gallichotte called the meeting to order at 5:08 PM.
2.ROLL CALL
•Board Members Present – Jebrail Dempsey, Emily Gallichotte, Gina Maez, Kendall
Stephenson, Julie Trone
•Board Members Absent – Emily (Fitz) Fitzmeyer
•City of Fort Collins Staff: Kay la (Redd), Rachel Owens
3.AGENDA REVIEW
•No changes.
4.PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
•No present public attendees during this time.
5.APPROVAL OF MINUTES
•Julie Trone made a motion to approve the minutes of the October 30 th, 2024
meeting.
•Emily Gallichotte seconded the motion.
•Motion passed

NAY – None
6.NEW BUSINESS
•Discuss Human Rights Proclamation
o Item was dropped because proclamation process r emains unclear. Redd
is to learn process and r elay to Board next meeting.
•Brainstorm Potential Guest Speakers
o Item was dropped due to agenda error.
•Discuss Women’s Proclamation
o The Board discussed sponsoring the Women’s Day Proc lamation on
March 4th, 2025. Jebrail and Julie are partnering on the proclamation.

•Review City Council’s Calendar
o City Council’s Planning Calendar was reviewed and discussed for the
Board’s opportunities of attendance and participation.
7.OTHER BUSINESS
•The Board went through the 2025 Work Plan and assigned roles and
responsibilities.
•The Board discussed the potential involvement for the Sexual Assault Awareness
Month Proclamation in April.
8.NEXT STEPS
•Board members composed next meeting’s agenda.
