Founded in 1977, the Larimer Chorale is one of the largest and most accomplished classical choral groups in Colorado. We are an auditioned, adult choir, composed of approximately 125 members who are volunteer performers. In 2012, the Larimer Chorale created a choir program that provides an avenue for older adults to engage in recreational singing and to realize their wellness and life-long learning goals. The emphasis of the choir is on camaraderie and singing for the fun of it. The Silvertones Senior Choir program is meant for active adults, ages 55 and up and currently has over 130 members. The Dickens Carolers are a small ensemble of outstanding vocalists, auditioned from within the ranks of the Larimer Chorale.
