5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES, June 26, 2024
Ms. Powers moved to approve the minutes.
Ms. Barnes seconded.
Unanimously approved.
6. Introduction of Council Liaison – Susan Gutowsky
7. NEW BUSINESS
a) TRANSFORMER CABINET MURAL DESIGN REVIEW
Artists Aerica Raven Van Dorn and Joe Myers were in attendance to present
their designs. Ms. Martin presented designs for Kalie Alie, Chris Bates, CM
Canino, Chelsea Gilmore, Terry McNerney, Noel Miller, and Larry Tucci.
Ms. Zola moved that we accept the design concepts
Ms. Shuff seconded.
Unanimously approved.
b) DEACCESSION DISCUSSION – Transformer Cabinet Mural
Ms. Martin presented two murals to be decommissioned—Moments by Caleb
Schmitz at 1408 Riverside and All Geared Up by Stanley Scott at the northeast
corner of Pitkin and Shields. Moments was painted in 2020 and has been
repeatedly vandalized and the mural damaged. All Geared Up was painted in
2013 and the paint is failing. The cabinet on Riverside has been repainted by

Utilities and Terry McNerney will paint a new mural on the cabinet at Pitkin and
Shields.
Ms. Powers moved approval of decommissioning of these two cabinets
Ms. Barnes seconded.
Unanimously approved.
b) DESIGN CONSULTANT REVIEW
Ms. Martin presented the submitted work separating the three lowest scores
where there was a natural break. The board discussed accepting all the artists.
Ms. Shuff moved to accept all the approved design consultants.
Ms. Powers seconded.
Unanimously approved.
d) APP 30th Anniversary
Ms. Bauer shared some ideas she’s had for a marketing campaign including
creating a 30th anniversary logo, having a mayoral proclamation, designing
infographics showing by the numbers timeline of how the program started and
how it has grown. The Board would like to host a party with a slideshow of
projects and infographics. Members suggested showing a slideshow in the Fort
Collins Museum of Discovery Dome and a rooftop party. They also suggested
showing the slideshow at the CSU Lagoon concerts and concerts at Foothills.
7. STAFF REPORT
Ms. Martin shared highlights and updates; the report will be emailed to the
Board.
