A copy of the email is included on page 2 of the Document Log. • GENERAL CITIZEN EMAILS/LETTERS: •NONE RECIVED EXHIBITS RECEIVED DURING HEARING: Item # Exhibit # Description: NONE RECEIVED 1 From:Noah Beals To:Kory Katsimpalis Subject:FW: [EXTERNAL] hello - regarding appeal ZBA240015 Date:Wednesday, June 12, 2024 10:51:53 AM From: Ann Fenwick <annlfenwick@yahoo.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 12, 2024 10:29 AM To: Noah Beals <nbeals@fcgov.com> Subject: [EXTERNAL] hello - regarding appeal ZBA240015 hello noah - i received the notice of public hearing for tomorrow - june 13 i will not be able to attend in person due to work committments but i wanted to send this email i do not understand how there could be such a large request for this small property 897 sq ft floor space is basically enuogh to build a 2nd dwelling -- it appears that the current zone would only allow 616 sq ft this is almost 30% larger request -- this just seems too large where there are no alleys and no separation from neighbors in this small area of town if the request is to encroach 5 ft -- what would that allow for fire/emergency access? is 10 ft really very much at all? is there really any reason to assume that this would be a rented occupied dwelling and NOT an AirB&B short term rental? is it required to be a permanent / long term rental? I do not know Stephen Douglas at all - and have not sought out any discussion with him personally my name is ann fenwick i am the owner of a long time rental 400 S Shields-- at woodford and shields i do agree that we need to increase our density -- but this is not a typical block or a typical request -- and it seems like a large request please contact me if you need any additional information thanks -- Ann Fenwick 2
