a. Dave motioned to approve the April minutes and Myles seconded the approval of
minutes.

7. GUEST SPEAKERS AND BOARD DISCUSSION
a. Rachel Cohen, CEO of Aging Dynamics and Executive Director of Linkages
i. Rachel shared information relating to the two organizations she works with
and is passionate about.
1. Aging Dynamics is a consulting firm that looks to support mission
driven organizations through a collaborative and sustainable model.
Support organizations in strategic planning, staff retreats, and other
big picture pieces.
2. Linkages is a nonprofit that works to reduce loneliness, isolation, and
agism through intentional intergenerational program design. It
operates on the belief that all individuals bring value and con tribution
to the program.
b. Community feedback process and running log review
i. The board will respond to all public comments in board meetings. If
additional research is required, it will be provided at the following board
meeting so the public can access meeting minutes.
c. Office on Aging Advisory Council Community Fair Debrief
i. Myles and David sat at the Senior Advisory Board table during the Office on
Aging Community Fair. Oth shared they had consistent, positive
conversations with the public in attendance. Over the 5 hours, they guess
they conversed with around 50 people. Both were also able to mingle with

the other 66 exhibitors.
8. NEW BUSINESS
a. Recent City Council Activity
b. Table Discussion Facilitators needed for 6/6 Statewide Conference
i. The Office on Aging is looking for table facilitators for their June 6 th event.
c. Invitation from Loveland SAB Chair for more intermunicipal meetings
i. Dave or Myles will reach out to the Loveland Senior Advisory Board with
presentation options for a joint meeting.
d. Officer elections
i. The election timeline was discussed, and the current Chair and Vice Chairs
were encouraged to continue in their roles. Voting will occur in June.
9. BOARD MEMBER REPORTS-Roundtable minute
a. Each Senior Advisory Board Member shared how their week was going and any
upcoming senior related events.
i. Joe shared a Local Legislator Town Hall Meeting that occurred on may 11 th
from 10-11:30 am at the PSD Future Ready Center.

11. UPCOMING EVENTS & OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS
a. May 10th Intergenerational Game Night at Compass School from 4 -6 pm.
b. Thursday, June 6th, Future of Aging Colorado Statewide Conference at the Embassy
Suites, 4705 Clydesdale Parkway, Loveland Colorado 80538, from 8 am – 5 pm.
c. Couples understanding of Dyadic Daily Life Experiences Study with CSU
d. Future speaker ideas were shared by the group. Ideas included: Disabled Resource
Services, A Little Help, Support for Seniors, a family liaison from PSD, History Tours
along the Poudre Canyon, the Budgeting for Outcomes process the city uses, a
presenter on the changes to state legislation and how it is impacting U+2.
