CALL TO ORDER Ken called to order at 5:30 2. ROLL CALL • List of Board Members Present Ken Christensen Nick Armstrong Marcia Richards Meghan Willis Bob Kingsbury Jon Corley (remotely) Joshua Durand • List of Board Members Absent Mike Novell (emailed absence) excused Paul Baker • List of Staff Members Present Mike Calhoon LeAnn Williams (remotely) Jen Scott Introduction of DK Kemp Have been with the City prior, now Senior Supervisor for Trails. Missy Nelson Has been with the City, new position as the Development Review Coordinator for the Parks Department • List of Guests Lisa Permar Pickleball Rocky Mountain Adventures Kyle Johnson and David Terry 3. AGENDA REVIEW No Agenda Review 4. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION Lisa Permar Pickleball player- Would like more pickleball court for tournaments. APPROVAL OF MINUTES March Minutes are Approved Motioned by Nick seconded by Ken All present approved the Minutes 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Sustainable funding Discussion was to have drafting an email with all board members for a letter to put forth to the Finance Committee 7. NEW BUSINESS Trails Master Plan Update DK Kemp Strategic Trails Plan and Timeline Community Engagement, Native lands and interpretation of the areas, inclusivity, safety, and accessibility. Inclusiveness for all to use the spaces. Funding, look at milestones, and potential partnership. Funding comes from the Conservation Trust Fund 8. BOARD MEMBER REPORTS Marcia FC Bikes Think Bikes Workshop- what is working what is not, how to improve, etiquette, safe route to school bike lane. Bike Committee looking at a Bike Park Documentary about biking in the Netherlands 9. Urban Forest Ambassadors to update TreeKeeper inventory. Urban Forest Strategic plan with Davey FCPD Hope Program aid with the unhoused Board member concerns, announcements Nick Volunteer Day May 13th at Crescent Park Poudre Global Academy field trip to EPIC to learn about Pool + Ice" 10.
