Colfax Denver, CO 80203 Subject: Senate Bill 003 on Motor Vehicle Emissions Programs Mr. Fisher: It was a pleasure and an honor to have you visit with the Fort Collins Air Quality Advisory Board at our December meeting. You had asked us to review and comment on SB 003 with respect to air quality issues in Fort Collins. We have reviewed the bill and, with regard to the two issues included (expansion of the AIR Program Area to the North Front Range and the treatment of exceptions for collector vehicles), we find the bill is consistent with our interests regarding air quality. We recommend that the Fort Collins City Council support the bill as introduced. We wish to thank you for sponsoring SB 003, and look forward to its passing into law.
