3. AGENDA REVIEW
There was a discussion about who the new members that will be joining next year.
4. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
5. APROVAL OF MINUTES –November 16, 2022
Ms. Shuff moved to approve the minutes from November 16
Ms. Hatchette seconded.
Unanimously approved.
6. BUSINESS, PRESENTATION, OR DISCUSSION:
A) 2022 YEAR IN REVIEW PRESENTATION
Ms. Martin presented the projects completed in 2022 and some that are in
development. There was a follow-up discussion about community outreach and follow
up to earlier project discussions including about the FC Moves Asphalt Art Murals.
B) ANNUAL REPORT DRAFT
Ms. Martin presented a draft based on previous Annual Reports. The Board reviewed
the text and there were suggestions for minor changes.
Ms. Bauer moved to accept the report with the changes suggested
Ms. Barnes seconded
Unanimously approved
7. STAFF REPORT
Ms. Martin shared highlights. The report will be emailed to the APP Board.
8. OTHER BUISNESS
A) APP CELEBRATION & BOARD MEMBER FAREWELL
Ms. Martin thanked the retiring Board members, and they reflected their time on the
Board and the changes they’ve seen during that time. Members retiring include

MONTHLY UPDATES:
BUS AND BUS SELTER ART: Staff is working on templates and fabricating the initial round. A second call will be
issued once they are installed.
DOVETAIL PARK, near Nancy Gray and Miles House Aves.: Formerly known as Bucking Horse Park. Artist Joshua
Wiener concepts were approved by the APP Board and City Council. The artist is currently fabricating the
project.
ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING CENTER FLOW RESTORATION, 2145 Centre Ave.: Artist Katy Casper is meeting
with the team to develop art for the site.
GARDENS ON SPRING CREEK TEMPOROARY ART INSTALLATION, east of Timberline on Drake: The nine Bird
House Village sculptures by Todd Kundla and Dan Huling will be on view through February 2023. Two of the
sculptures were sold during the October silent auction.
GLENMOOR POND ENHANCEMENT, Taft Hill Rd. north of Elizabeth St.: Artist Lisa Cameron Russell’s concept
was approved by the APP Board and City Council. The contract is completed and the artist will start fabrication.
LAPORTE BRIDGES, Laporte Ave. between Grandview Ave. and Taft Hill Rd.: The team selected Jim Lynxwiler
from the Design Consultant List. The artist is currently meeting with the team to develop art for the site.
LAPORTE CORRIDOR, Laporte Ave. between Fishback Ave. and Sunset St.: Staff will issue an RFQ for a Colorado
artist.
OAK STREET STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, Oak Street from Jackson Avenue to Mason Street: Artist
Mark Aeling was selected for this project and will start meeting with the team again shortly.
PEDESTRIAN PAVER PROJECT: The 2022 designs are being fabricated. The 2023 call has been posted on the
Art in Public Places website and is being promoted. It is translated into Spanish. The deadline is April 4.

Staff Report — January 18, 2023
Monika Lea Jones’ completed Butterfly Nebula Pianos About Town mural.
It is currently located outside Foothills off the East Lawn.
PIANO PROJECT: Tif Choate is currently painting at Foothills. She will finish her mural this weekend. The 2023
call has been posted on the Art in Public Places website and is being promoted. It is translated into Spanish.
The deadline is February 28. There will be a virtual open house and one-on-one appointments in February.
POWER TRAIL AND HARMONY CROSSING, Harmony Road between McMurry Ave and Timberline Rd.: Artist Todd
Kundla was meeting with the project team. This capital project is currently on hold.
STORM DRAIN MURAL PROJECT, multiple sites: Artists have been selected. Painting will happen in the spring.
STREAM REHABILITATION, multiple sites: Artist Andy Dufford was selected for this project and is meeting with
the project team to develop concepts related to stream rehabilitation for multiple sites.
TRANSFORMER CABINET MURALS: All 2022 murals have been completed. See updates on artists progress on
the APP website at fcgov.com/cabinets. The 2023 call has been posted on the Art in Public Places website and
is being promoted. It is translated into Spanish. The deadline is March 27. There will be a virtual open house
and one-on-one appointments in March.
UTILITIES PUBLIC ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM, location to be determined: Artist Allie Ogg was selected by
the project team. She is currently meeting with Utilities.
VINE AND LEMAY: This project by Joshua Wiener was on hold for public outreach. The outreach was presented to
City Council and it was approved on December 20. Staff is working with the artist on the contract.
WATER RECLAMATION FACILITY, County Rd. 9 and Environmental Dr.: Artist Lisa Cameron Russell was selected
for this project. The design is being finalized and will be brought to the APP Board.
WATER TREATMENT FACILITY, Laporte west of Overland Trail: Todd Kundla was selected for this project and is
meeting with the project team. This project was presented today.
WATER TREATMENT FACILITY UTILITY CABINET MURALS, Laporte west of Overland Trail: The project team will
select artists from the preapproved list of artists. Artist Kristen Vohs was selected for the first two cabinets and
has completed her murals.
WEST ELIZABETH, between Shields St. and Overland Trail: Artist Mark Leichliter was selected for this project.
The artist was meeting with the team to develop art for the site. The project is currently developing the budget.
