Leslie Walker made a motion to accept the minutes. Vicki Fogel Mykles seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Approved by roll call, Ayes: Will Flowers, Vicki Fogel Mykles, Timothy Vavra, Leslie Walker, Jennifer Zidon. • Approval of September 2022 minutes. Vicki Fogel Mykles made a motion to accept the minutes. Leslie Walker seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Approved by roll call, Ayes: Will Flowers, Vicki Fogel Mykles, Timothy Vavra, Leslie Walker, Jennifer Zidon. UNFINISHED BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS • 2023 CuRB Work Plan o Jim McDonald reviewed the 2023 work plan including changes discussed at the September meeting. o After a brief discussion, the Board agreed to adopt the 2023 Cultural Resources Board Work Plan. Leslie Walker made a motion to adopt the 2023 Cultural Resources Board Work Plan. Jennifer Zidon seconded the motion. Approved by roll call, Ayes: Will Flowers, Vicki Fogel Mykles, Nandini Singh, Timothy Vavra, Leslie Walker, Jennifer Zidon. • Fort Fund Contract Review o Solara Clark reviewed the Fort Fund grantee contract and the “Manage Your Fort Fund Grant” checklist with the Board. DocuSign Envelope ID: 37251EFE-FA4F-40D7-A893-83DE9069BAA0 Cultural Resources Board REGULAR MEETING Wednesday, October 26, 2022 – 5:30 PM Canyon West Ballroom – The Lincoln Center 10/26/22– MINUTES Page 2 o The Board discussed an addendum to the “Manage Your Fort Fund Grant” checklist requiring direct contact be made with assigned liaisons. • Arts and Economic Prosperity Study 6 o Solara Clark reviewed the Arts and Economic Prosperity Study 6 in which the City of Fort Collins is participating. o Solara Clark addressed the challenge of the BIPOC requirement associated with this study. The Board discussed potential organizations that could help meet these goals. DIRECTOR’S REPORT • Jim McDonald informed the Board that the final City Council work session for Budgeting for Outcomes (BFO) was two weeks prior. He stated that there is a positive outlook on many of the offers for the Cultural Services Department. • Leslie Walker asked about the Cultural Community Program pop-up events;. Jim McDonald informed the Board of the events’ successes. BOARD MEMBER REPORTS • Leslie Walker provided a video from PBS featuring Dance Express for the Board to watch. • Leslie Walker attended Bas Bleu’s performances of Blithe Spirit and the Revolutionist and a catered dinner at Rare put on by Off the Hook Arts. • Vicki Fogel Mykles attended Larimer Chorale’s The Bernstein Effect concert and Debut Theater’s performance of The Railway Children. She also informed the Board of the Fort Collins Symphony Halloween Concert coming up on October 27th. • Nandini Singh attended a performance by Opera Fort Collins. • Timothy Vavra had a booth and participated in a panel at the Fort Collins Comic Con. OTHER BUSINES ADJOURNMENT: • Timothy Vavra made a motion to adjourn at 6:55 PM. Vicki Fogel Mykles seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
