V. New Business: Discussion Topics with Guest Presenters
a. Jarett Hughes - Senior Policy Advisor to the Governor
At est. 11:45 am will address the coherent outreach strategy he has been developing for
closer work coordination with county and municipal governments, city councilmembers
and other community leaders. Jarett recently led the effort to produce the State’s
report on Lifelong Colorado (attached on email to SAB).
b. Janet Freeman & Leo Escalante - City of Fort Collins Equity and Inclusion
Coordinator
After completion of Jarett’s Q&A, est. 12:15 pm Janet will address how ageism and
related equity and inclusion factors impact the city’s diverse older adult population with
focus on BFO Neighborhood Livability. How does Fort Collins reach out to its diverse
aging population to live safe, full and interesting lives and continue to contribute,
participate, and share in the life of the community?

VI Ongoing Business: Status of Integrated Transportation initiative – Alicia Durand
- Poudre School District was interested.
VII SAB Member Bio: Deanna O’Connell – pushed to next meeting.
VIII ANNOUNCEMENTS
- City/CSU e-scooter bike share program ribbon cutting.
o Friday, July 9th 3:30-4:30pm.
- Car show Saturday at Senior Center – 10-2pm
