CITIZEN REVIEW BOARD (CRB)
REGULAR MEETING
Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 5:30 p.m.
Meeting held on Zoom. 117 N. Mason, Civic Center Conference Room
1. CALL TO ORDER – Aaron Rodriguez 5:39pm
Introduction of new Citizen Review Board members, Jenny Lopez will be scheduling the
foundational training to new members
2. ROLL CALL
a. Present:Aaron Rodriguez, Melissa Rosas, Mark Partridge, Melissa Rosas,
Elizabeth Grant, Shamera Loose, Todd Newhouse
b. Board Members Absent: Cassandra Moore
c. Staff Members Present: Adam McCambridge (FCPS), Christine Macrina,
Jenny Lopez
d. Guests: Sady Swanson (The Coloradoan)

5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
a. Remove email address from the top of the minutes
b. Aaron motion to approve with single correction, Mark second motion,
unanimously approved
6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
a. 2021 Work Plan Presentation
• Goals will remain the same
• New member orientations will be individual, and done by Jenny
• Mock subcommittee training
• Trainings for this year:
o Review of Internal Affairs process training (set for Feb)
o How to review investigations training from an outside provider
o Firearms, use of force, and least lethal training (will be later spring,
when possible to be in person)
o Would like to review how officers engage with homeless people
o K-9 training overview
o Co-responders for mental health related calls (will be later in year)
o Officer training program review
o Domestic Violence responsiveness training
o Ride-alongs will be set up on an individual basis
• Motion to accept the 2021 Work Plan by Aaron, second motion by Melissa,
unanimously approved
7. NEW BUSINESS
a. Voicemail: None
b. E-mail: 2, 1 regarding how to join the board. Aaron replied with information and
website. 1 was a solicitor, unrelated to this board
c. Drawing for review of case # PSU 2020-056
Materials ready next Monday for pickup at FCPS
Review finished within 45 days
